What is BattleBots?
Event: A BattleBots competition hosted by the FTC AG (Robotics Club).
Idea: Design, build, and control your own combat robot to compete against others.
Goal: Learn new skills + have fun + win the competition!

The Kit (Provided)
Each team receives a standardized kit containing:
- 2x Motors for drive system
- ESP32 Microcontroller — the "brain" of your robot
- ESC (Electronic Speed Controller)
- LiPo Battery for power
- Weapon materials & chassis components

The Base
We provide a standard base platform that every team must assemble first

6-week intensive build phase
Competition Timeline
Kickoff (Thursday before holidays)

Week 1: Foundation
- Assemble the standard base
- Wire the motors
- Basic functionality tests
Weeks 2–4: Weapon Design & Build
- Design your custom weapon

- First functionality tests
Weeks 5–6: Final Tuning
- Weight management (stay under 150g!)
- Driving practice
